Bebop Drone 2 Fishing for Quadcopter in Kona Hawaii 2016. Connected Fishing line with large wire hook to the Bebop 2 drone and the rest of the line was going to the fishing pole. Almost got it. My theory was to use velcro on the drone so that the line connection could break away and not trap my drone. The attempt nearly worked. My second attempt I hooked up my line differently and the drone was stuck on takeoff by the line and then wound line all around the motor. I suggest using long thin plastic packing straps that hold boxes and using them instead of fishing line. I think that would work with the straps connected and the drone elevated on takeoff so that the straps and hoks can dangle freely. also using more hooks? New to this, but it nearly worked. I thought that my fishing line connected to the fishing pole would help me reel it in but the wind blew the line into another tree so that made extraction of the hooks difficult.
