Quadcopter Crash and Burn – grass catches fire

1490024003_hqdefault.jpg

Nothing extraordinary about the crash – probably could’ve recovered if I put the throttle on sooner. However, one of the esc’s kept trying to start up and over heated. Not sure why it did this.

KingKong 188 Quadcopter Frame Review

1459062835_hqdefault.jpg

This KingKong 188 frame is made from injected plastic and reminds me a lot of my first FPV250 quadcopter. I think this would make a great quad and the power distribution board should make the assembly a lot faster and easier.

FPV250 Quadcopter Parts, Assembly, and Tuning with Naze32

1441321094_hqdefault.jpg

I finally very happy with my FPV250. I have it flying very steady and solid. I think the biggest problem people have with their FPV250’s is where to place all the components and then how to tune the Naze32 board to get smooth flights. Well since I used pretty standard parts, hopefully they’ll match up with what you have used on yours and my settings can be used as a baseline for yours. If you’re looking to do your intial build, this is the quadcopter I recommend starting with. It is reasonably priced and “easy” (depending on your soldering skill level) to assemble.

Eachine Q200 Quadcopter Frame Review from Banggood

1433657350_hqdefault.jpg

I have several 250mm and larger quadcopters. Flying a smaller one is going to be different. I didn’t realize how much smaller 50mm would be until I was holding the Q200 quad in my hands.

Special Note:
http://www.gaatech.com can cut a 2mm plate that will fit this Q200. You can e-mail Andy at sales@gaatech.com for more information.

This next link is a follow up to this video about the DYS 1306 motors that I’m going to be using on the Q200 quadcopter:
